Well for me at CC, they gave me a random object, like a camera bag, and said sell this to another employee. They wanted to see how well I talked and how calm and convincing I could be. If you are a salesman its a good exercise.

god i hate retail stores.. theyre so **** commercial and most of them act liek their customers are all retards (even when you know more than they do, as they can never be wrong) but yet they dont even know much more than is necessary for the average customer.. and if they dont knwo something often times they BS is to egt a sale..
flakko i hope you get the job even if its just to get some better product knowledge/ advanced audio knowledge in a shop where it sounds liek they could use the influence

haha thanks man, if i DO get the job, im going to try to preach the truth, give them the best dang customer service possible w/o trying to milk the customer dry with all the BS.... if they want bang for the buck, ill give it to them!

yeah and as far as the interview goes.. when i was applying at best buy the guy basically was liek so tell me do you have anything in your car? and then he would be liek oh yeah how much power? is that peak or rms? what vc config are your subs? how did you wire them? whats the final load? box? tuning? built yourself? ssf? whats it set to?

if i was a customer and said i listened to rock and my music lacked punch, what would you recommend? what would you ask a customer to get them to kinda start talkign to you and get their interest sparked? how would you handle a situation in which blah blah blah

you get the idea.. but every place is gonna be different.. the one youre going to sounds like they need your help so they better hire you haha rockin the old school subs.. actually.. do they have 12" round solos? ha you could prolly buy em up and sell em online cause a lot of people are kinda after them. id check em out.

well, i got done with the interview a few hours ago...

it went pretty good i guess, looks like they want me to sell tints, alarms AND performance parts on top of audio haha, they actually didnt ask me much questions about my salesmanship, cuz they saw i sell amps and stuff... i think, and teh fact that i learned all I know about car stereos strictly through research, and asking questions, was a BIG plus. 7.5-8.00/hour + commision aint bad either for starters.

they said they would call today or tomorrow... **crosses fingers**
