God of war was sick, much better than any of the devil may cry's. Cant wait for the 2nd one....

Well I must say DMC1 was pretty good, 2 sucked a big one, 3 ive only played the SE version (hell I bought the 3 pack for like $25 lol) and overall that too is a pretty bad @ss game. The only thing that blew was Virgil doesnt have a story mode. Other then that I love how the Gameshark makes the game that much more fun //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif That goes for most any game.

GOW is a different layout, I dont know why ppl allways compare the 2. I liked both personally.

They're not really that similar, totally different styles and directions. You get a different experience from each. DMC 2 did blow big time, I bought into the hype so much, 1 was incredible, and 2 was the biggest let down ever! DMC 3 redeemed the franchise tho, and DMC 4 on PS3 should be amazing as well, I cant even imagine GOW 3 on PS3 though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/drool.gif.b5e863e893038027711d4402f340dad0.gif

I guess since they both involve swords (blades) and slashing at bad guys they are pretty similar.

I would think Onimusha would be a better comparison with DMC, although they are still quite a bit different. Thats what makes DMC so great, there really isnt anything out there that you can compare to it. Same goes with God of War.

Where is the OP, have you gotten the game yet?

I know you weren't referring to me. I was merely commenting on what you said as I have also heard people try to compare the two.

I bought it when it was only out for a week and I paid full price ($50) for it. To this day I still think I got my money's worth. Would have been nice to pay less but when you want something that first comes out you don't have much choice.

The only part that I found really hard was at the end when you're fighting all the clones of yourself and when you fight Ares with that Blade of the Gods, everything leading up to those two parts was pretty much sissy ****.
