What a splendid idea. Sell off their fleet brand (GMC) All the fleet trucks General Motors makes are GMC. There is no need to kill off Buick. They most likely use the same platform as the Chevrolet models, and roll off the same line so it really costs the company little to make that brand, and offers the customers more selection, like Ford-Lincoln-Mercury.If GM was really serious they would kill off Buick and GMC too.
All they need is one economy brand and one luxury brand.
More of this bullshit again. Cadillac CTS was Motor Trend car of the year last year.well good, maybe they'll build a decent car now.
US News and World Reports ranked it #2 out of 23 in affordable midsize cars based on 68 published reviews. The 2008 Malibu took home a trunkful of awards from the press -- one of Car and Driver's 10Best, North American Car of the Year at the North American International Auto Show in January 2008, Kiplinger magazine's "Best in Class," Automobile Magazine's 2008 Automobile All-Stars -- the list goes on and on.
The 2009 Chevrolet Malibu reliability score of 10.0 out of 10 is the Predicted Reliability rating provided by J.D. Power and Associates. This score is based on trending the past three years of historical initial quality and dependability data from J.D. Power's automotive studies, specifically the Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) and the Initial Quality Study (IQS).
