Glass fiber vs. Polyfill stuffing

which one is better, stuffing polyfill or stamping glass fiber like in the pic? any diffenrence with the sound?

I think most of the veterans here prefer polyfill in mobile audio applications, though personally i dont use any polyfill or anything.

He's just using fiberglass because it comes in big rolls with one side paper'd over for easy stapling. Polyfill usually comes in disorganized bags or rolls too thin to be useful. No acoustic difference between the two, just an install option.

That FG can be had at your local hardware store, the polyfill is $2.79 / bag at Walmart, and that $2.79 can go a long way.

alright cool, so 1lbs of polyfill equals 1lbs of fiberglass? or its different

(based on 1lbs of polyfill for 1cu.ft)?
