No matter how many times, how hard I try, I'm being serious. Despite the high humidity there, which most people can't handle, there's just so much to do there, outside. I'll take the high humidity over this 20-30 degree weather. 2-3 months out of the year it's warm, the rest is cold rain. I had enough of it!!

Do what a lot of people do, we get a lot of snow birds and people that just get tired of the north weather in general. Some people keep a small house up north and have a small place down here in FL. Just a thought if your wife doesn't want to move from where you are at permanently.

yeah an idea....but also 2 mortgages?! I'm not rich by any means lol. Still have one kid in school, the other just graduated hs last yr so....it's not an overnight decision to make. But in my mind it is heh. Between the both of us, we have other family members spread apart so... I dunno. It's still up in the air but def not a no. Houses there in some areas are a hell of a lot cheaper than here.

been cold as crap here so far this yr just did thaw out 8" snow but still nothing like what ya'll have..

twice in 2 weeks they said we would get 1" of snow got 6 and 8" and it was -4 degrees in North Carolina man that crap ain't right.. my dash has a crack in it so i'm just gonna say my sub did it., how do i know when it happened? shhhhh... been below freezing 14 out of the 1st 18 days this yr and my heat pump stopped working Thank god i have gas logs a 2nd fireplace, 2 kerosene heaters and a electric blanket lol.. it still worked on aux mode just not as well and cost tons of $ to run it i bought fuses $20 replaced them, nothing.. it was a **** breaker it was off for days (b4 the crazy cold).. idk what tripped it never done it before..
