I am a "telephone man" I work for SBC (SouthWestern Bell Telephone) as a systems tech. If you are not familiar with SBC It is the one of the largest telecomunications company in the world. I work primarily outside isolating trouble and fault locating in the facilities in the telephone facilities over several counties. Basically If your phone goes dead I find the problem that can be anywhere from your house to the Central Office. I dont always work 80-90 hrs per week but due to the tramendous amount of rain in a three state region we are very backed up with a ton of trouble.
