The MLS isn't US-only is it? If not, this is probably the only country they have trouble selling tickets in. And like I said, tennis, bowling, etc all make money and no one can name more than one or two players in those kind of sports.

i can name alot of pba bowlers.... only cause im a bowler and have bowled with alot of them haha.

its different in the PBA though. they are only selling a couple hundred tickets, and they do sell out each event. and the bowlers dont necessarily get paid a salary from anyone. they make prize money based on how they place in the tournament. most of those guys have jobs in the off season or own pro shops.

and at least in tennis all the majors are nationally televised, so there must be some interest in it.

its just when it comes to bowling, tennis, soccer the fan base is pretty much within people that have played the sport, and even some of those people say they cant stand to watch the games. but with NFL, MLB, NBA, there are tons of fans that have never touched a ball in their life but go to and watch the games... with those sports so dominant in american culture i cant see them getting any more popular. you can get as many investors as you want but eventually if they arent making money on their investment they will move on.

Man I'm in a similar situation, me and my girl are goin to separate schools for the first year. It's tough man, I think the school she's goin to is like 2 or 3 hours away. Been with the ***** for a little over a year so I don't want to lose all that time that I've invested into this one. Good luck, that's about all anyone can really say. Do what you feel is best.

Junior year in college is a good year to start looking for a gf/wife I'm told.

What do you guys think about. I'm currently at college while my gf is still in high school. I love her to death and we have been together for 2 years. How many of you guys are still with your gf or what you think about it. People say its stupid but she is going to be my wife and i know it already. I'm young but i just have the feeling, we trust eachother and we never fight bad or anything (yet haha). Plus other things that make her the best for me.

My wife and I dated for 2.5 year before getting married. She lived in Portland, OR, 4.5 hours away from me. For 2 of the summers we were together I was in Alaska, she wasn't. It definitely can work. It might take more effort, but if you hold up your end, it definitely can work.

Not to disappoint you, but you will fight or have arguments...it's common and if you think it's bad, then think again. Arguments will help you find out truly who the person is or how they handle frustration, etc, because if you get married, you will have to deal with it.... being able to deal with can make the relationship stronger too.

I don't see what the need is to ask others whether you should stay with your gf or not. Is any of our opinions going to change something? You already said she's the one, so why would a member on ca.com influence you to change your mind? You need to think about what you want and if you really want to be with her. If you do, it shouldn't matter what others say or think.
