my friends is worse, and Circuit City did a horrid job at that too. like, they just got wire, splice it with a +lead and fused it, then grounded it on a rusted area of the chassis, then just threw in the sub box without anything to harness it down. Oh, and they didn;t know anything about ohms law, setting the gains, etc. I rewired his subs to parallel and it's 3 times louder //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif he was like, WTF....

oh, and if i were you, i would have been laughing at his set-up with the tweeters in the back like that ahahaha, i'd be like, yo i'll fix this piece of junk for free to rid of your spurious work.

been there done that......scotch tape,electrical tape, duct tape, masking tape, wire nuts. Anything you name it i've been there. I live in a town of **** ass DIYer's, then they come to me.

Yeah, this is my last week being a valet at a local casino here and I have to say I've seen some VERY ghetto installs. Thank God I start my bartending job next week before it gets cold out!!

been there done that......scotch tape,electrical tape, duct tape, masking tape, wire nuts. Anything you name it i've been there. I live in a town of **** ass DIYer's, then they come to me.

Very true, that town is horrible, I used to do a few installs on the side for football teammates, and they would have tweeters hanging down from the cieling, and 4 gauge wire running on top of the carpet right through the center of the car. At alpine intallers shop where he works, they sell some of the best equipment out there (memphis, alpine, clarion.....) but every time im in there some dumb ass is buying a Dual CD player, or set of 6 dollar tweeters. I wish that people would just learn, that you get what you pay for. Oh yeah, and blake how did that guys system turn out with the 2 alpine R 15's running off of that PR 1000?
