Geo Tracker yay or nay?

1994 GEO Tracker 36,700 miles!!!!

My girlfriend is getting her first car and came along this. She has exchanged email with the owner and the car was garage kept for most of its life and for the past 3 years it has been driven daily. The owner says it has had no problems. The tires were just recently replaced with new ones. It looks pretty clean. Were geo's pieces of shit or were they fairly reliable?

From my understanding the metro's are great vehicles just not powerful at all. I assume the same goes for the tracker.

these vehicles had a tendency to roll. you have to be really careful turning at any speed due to the small wheel base.

personally i think its a cool little suv but it can easily be a death trap. if she like to drive fast i say dont get it i would look for a 94-00 civic first and i hate civics.

i would just keep looking around

Very top heavy my buddy rolled his a couple years back also have fragile transmissions in them so i wouldnt advise going up in tire size at all but they are good on gas and can be reliable with proper care

Ive never owned one but they should make a nice chick car...not really a man's ride real men drive real Jeeps...like CJ's or JK's
