Gator huntin in North Alabama

Who says they aren't this far north? lol At first it kept swimming away from the boat, then after about 3 times of it diving under, it came up behind our boat and started swimming toward us and was holding its ground........we decided it was time to leave.

They were transported from Florida years ago by TVA to help control the beaver population on the Tennessee River's adjoining creeks. Actually alot of them around in the shallow swamps and sloughs in this area.
