If you're gonna play MW2 online, get ready to die. Alot. Although I'm getting owned so much, I know I'm getting better the more I play though. That game is so addicting.

I think what got me into the cod games and mettal gear solid back in the day was having roomates to play it with. Just lots of beer and practice. Ugh I miss the college days

I would suggest both COD MW2 and Uncharted 2... I have both and I actually I enjoy Uncharted 2 single player > MW2 but multi-player there are almost even. I actually really enjoy the multi-player on Uncharted 2, which makes it a better overall value than MW2 due to it's epic SP.

Get both if you can! If you must choose one then MW2 is it if you want a straight up run n gun shooter. If you wanted a shooter, plus SP & story, plus adventure & sick grapics then go with U2.

fallout is a great game. its not a conventional shooter, if your not good at shooters you can still have alot of fun. theres a thing called vats where you stop time, pick a limb or head of the target and line up 3-4+ shots. it will automatically shoot where you picked, making it very easy to get good shots off. Theres also plenty of melee weapons too. The GOTY edition has all the expansions built in or you can buy them and add them to the original version.
Call of duty is great too but if you didnt like cod4 i doubt you would like MW2.

You gotta give fallout some time, it took me a few hours of playing to understand the controls, how the economy works, etc...I hated it the first like 8 hours I played it, now I've got over 220 hours of save games //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

No online play though. If you don't like dying, stick with mario games....

Add Borderlands to your list. It's like Fallout but more action rather than storyline.
