GALAXY SIII Price dropped

S3 is ok. Have had mine now about 2 months. Sometimes a pain when trying to answer calls. It is a bit big, so I accidentally hang up on some people while trying to answer.

The touch screen is sometimes not sensitive enough, and other times, too sensitive.

The auto correct feature blows goats too. When typing, the interface is better on the apple.

Speed, phone is decent. Could be faster, but it is what it is.

Battery life bites bad. If you are an average user, your batt wont last a day. And certain samsung apps ram up the data usage.

Overall...I don't mind it too much. I just wish they would come with 0 apps or crap on it and let ya pick for yourself what apps ya want.

How do i get one for tmobile for that price if im not eligible for an upgrade until next year?

usually a couple of month before your contract ends you can, so it depends when next year your contract ends, mine will end January but they still let me upgrade

I've been eying the Blackberry Bold 9900 and saw the price on it has dropped too. It might be time to buy. I might call them tomorrow to see if I can haggle for even better pricing.

Just root it. It's not hard and you can customize it how you want. Xda is a good website to help you along.

Breaking news!! Sams club will have the SIII for $0.96 on black friday, I just need to confirm if Tmobile is included since not all Sams club do Tmobile but ATT and verizon is confirmed

The phone has some upsides and downsides. Im still undecided on factory browser, ive downloaded chrome and dolphin and so far dolphin is the only one that loads this site correctly. Ive had an iphone for 2-3 years and its a completely different animal.

dont see what the big deal is spec wise .5 mhz faster than any other 'old'' phone out right now, thats it, camera the same even, oh and its a little bigger, the reason they are dropping price is because theyll wait till everyone gets one then the note II will drop, and everyone who renewed their contracts to get the SIII will have to pay full price to get a note. Just wait and get a note, first 4g quad core phone. Specs wise its .5 mhz than my evo which i havnt had any problems with really, just battery life and a $15 hyperion extended battery took care of that. Im not blowing a couple hundred or a hundred on a phone unless it is actually REALLY better than what I have. Not just a little better.
