Fvck a bumper

ill recommend Alsa Pla-stick next time for an adhesive promoter. I ****in love that stuff, low odor and has never reacted on me.
Nioce! This was just some shit my buddy had from a while back when he got the paint. It was bulldog or some shit, not real good experience for me though. I would have rather went to the paint store and got my own. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Just went out and showed the bumper to him a few minutes ago. I went through and circled all the imperfections with a sharpie.

Gonna hit it with some 400 on the orbital tomorrow after work, then if all is well, do another coat of primer, let it tack, then 3-4 good coats of red base, then a few coats of Omni clear.

But, on a real bad note, I went over and looked at this truck I did back in the summer. Painted the rockers and lips of the fenders on it. It was a work truck and got tore up real bad. Well, the guy didnt take care of it and the back wheel wells on the bed are fvcked.

Kinda pissed about it, I put soo many hours into in such a short amount of time. Oh well....come summer time Ill probably have him bring it buy again, drop off some money for materials and do it right by putting a bed liner coating along the bottom so he stops tearing up the paint.

ive used bulldog also, it was kinda like a backup if out of the alsa. Only had a few problems with it, but alsa pwns it in every aspect.

D@mn Mikey looks good man. I know how you feel I have been doing bodywork for the past week straight at work and I'm sick of it (not on cars but $60,000 jet showers, they are so godd@mn picky about every little speck lol)

Some of it had to due with a prep-work mistake on my part unfortunately. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I hate doing stuff for people on a limited supply of materials.

If I ever handle something that Im getting paid for, or am doing for myself, I always get everything I need and more so I can do it right the first time.

good deal. also looks pretty good, i forgot to say that in my first post
Thanks!

I love these epoxies, they work so **** good. This stuff was made for urethane too, its incredibly flexible and strong. I was very impressed.

also a good tip for ya, never change ur procedures because someone wants you to do it cheaper. I have a step system that ive developed that work for me and i hate when someone wants me to "help" them but want me to do it their way... My work never comes out near as well.

and if u have any smaller projects check out alsa's site, some of the coolest paints u will see on there. I plan on doin my next two cars with it.

Thanks man! Much appreciated. Thats what drives me crazy, helping people when they want to cop out and cut corners. I would rather them just pay me to do it or at least do it the right way.
