Hi. I would like to build another box for my fusion sub with as low a tuning as possible. Here is a link to the sub & the parametres. I dont have a clue about this but can build once some 1 helps me. thanx

http://www.fusioncaraudio.com/products.php?region=2&action=view&product_id=31.

its under tech info

my dimensions in my car I can fit in are 32 long x 16 high x any depth but not to deep & I would like a slot ported design with woofer & port on the front, cheers

Try this, this is with 3/4"MDF, .3^3ft for sub and bracing displacement. 17"H x 32"W x 16.5"D, 4.104^3ft gross vol. Slot port, 15.5" x 2" x 32.8"long@28Hz. After all displacement, 3.145^3ft net vol. This will do the job very well. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Have Fun.

Thanx for the reply, I cant get 17in high in but the rest is all ok. Can I do 16 high or will that change things. What is displacement.

Please see another design, (SCROLL DOWN) I was given and this sounded ok but I think could be better, what do u think ?

If you can not get the 17"H, you will have to build a slant front enclosure, and doing the port can be a bit tricky, the inside end of the port must match the front slant. If you go 16"H x 32"W x 20"Bottom depth x 16"Top depth, 16.5" front slant. Slot port, 15" x 2.25" x 35.8"long. This will give you 4.217^3ft gross vol, 3.143^3ft net vol. Should do the job.
