Bookstores blow. Ive got 4 classes this semester. 3 are level 2 classes since Ill have my associates in 6 months. The other is an entry level polisci class. $427.93 in books and 1 was used. Im starting a ****ing bookstore to make some bank.

or just find them online cheaper used. i'm in my 6th and final year of school, you find ways to get used books cheap

Online is the way to go. Hell, even get past issues that have all the same stuff just thrown on the paper a little differently.

Sad thing is we dont know what books we need until we get to the book store. So if we were to order them online we wouldnt get them until the second week of class, by which time work has to be turned in and graded. We would be behind 2 weeks.

Only reason bookstores charge those high prices is alot of ppl are on book vouchers and dont care how much they cost.

yea i buy them used online and sell them to the school store at the end of the semester and usually come out pretty even. u should be able to go to the school store or online and get the ISBN number and order them online. half.com i got 3 books for 132 dollars the school bookstore wanted 136, 111 and 40.

My school lets me lookup online what book I need. And school bookstores have to charge the prices they do the publishers force them to charge that price. So they can't really go any lower. Its dumb buts its the way it is

I dont understand some peoples logic on this site

$400amp is "on sale" and people buy em, no questions

or 2 12" subs for $250 each, people buy 4

you gotta buy online, then sell back to the school at the end of the semester like 99grandprix said. usually works out in your favor.

and i dont know what your *****ing about. i spent over $700 for 4 books last semester and havent looked at the books i need for the upcoming one but i know itll be even worse. but then again, i go to a real college

Ive never paid $400 for an amp or $250 for subs.
