this is a 12" RE SX with Fi soft parts, dual 2 VC, however one of the VC is dead, actually the ohms fluctuate.

Thats where the VC is scraped at. It works fine I had it running for 1 month after I found out about it, not sure how long it was like that for.

Heres a vid of it:

Tinsel lead slap is what you are hearing though.

The VC doesn't scrape so I am not sure what happen.

Here's the left vc (2.xxohms)

And the right side VC (117kohm)

I haven't taken an ohm reading since.

I Honestly don't know what happen or how it happen. I never heard a power difference.

I'm in no hurry to get rid of it or anything.

As for the trade I am looking for is some 8s. Let me know what you have and lets work something out.

I had a manila folder spacing the pole and vc when I put it all together. I waited til the glue on the spider and the surround dried (24hr) before I took it out to put the dust cap on. So I don't know. I loved that sub too. I reconed it in April, and didnt start using it til July because I had the 15" FI BL in the car, then I used the 12" til Nov. when I got my Flatline. It lived a short lifetime. I got the flatline to replace it, but man that sub does sound good and can take the power without a sweat.
