Looks like one of Dantes old amps, I believe his were all modded. If it is this amp will play down into the 11v range, personally seen one do just that for a few minutes....Nice price.

I'd run it at 2 ohms instead of 1/2 ohm... these amps do good power at higher impedance, FYI.

Does it help to make the exisiting wires in other amps bigger than what they currently are. Will there be any noticable difference in power

These wires are 12v power to the second board in the amp... they carry very high current.

Wires in most amps are speaker outputs -- substantially less current.

So not really... not going to do much for other amps.
