The picture is an anomaly from the angle of the shot, the camera settings, and the lighting. It's not crooked, although it sure does look funny.

Paper boobcone, you say?! In that case, you are indeed running a prototype
driver, only two of which I ever sold to anyone.
The coil diameter on the protos is 2" (same as our production model), but it
is configured for single 6 ohm. Power-wise, it should not need more than
300 watts RMS for optimal performance, though you could use a 500 watt power
source so long as you are a responsible user and aren't crankin' the gain/EQ
full tilt.
The T/S param's on the units you have are as follows:
Qts - 0.405
Qes - 0.442
Qms - 4.778
Fs - 34.289 Hz
Re - 5.25 Ohm
Ls - 12.16mH
Lp - 4.053 mH
Rp - 25.46 Ohm
Sd - 0.020 m^2
Vas - 5.031 L
Mms - 214.1 g
Cms - 100.6 m/N
Bl - 23.39 T*m
Sensitivity - 78.44 dB
2nd generation RL-i's utilize a black annodized spun aluminum cone similar
to the rest of our RL-i's and RL-p's, peep the following images:

As you can see from the first image above, the logo takes up a good amount
of the cone space (since it is the same physical logo size we use on the
10's, 12's, and 15's). Therefore, gettin' a signiture on there may get a
little messy since the cone has a steeper concave surface and I'd have to
work around the logo. If you'd like me to do it, I will.. but I just think
it may get a little busy and won't look as nice as it would on the larger
drivers.
