They look like Durabrand, you can find them at Wal-mart.. I must admit that I checked them out when I was up there, and as you stated, they are pretty solid.

someone i remember bought one on roe recently and said it was a decent sub overall for any person with 0 bass and just wanting.. something til they could afford a good sub.. so I seriously bet they are better than the sonys too.
