Sold FS: Rolex SeaDweller rep w/ genuine swiss ETA movement

sounds familiar
Why would I give out my sources?

Incriminator - the "grading" system is a bunch of bullshit that scam websites use to lure and trick buyers. Ever see websites selling fake Rolex's for $1000+ advertised as "Swiss Grade 1 A+ replica" with great looking pictures? Yeah, that's the same thing I'm selling here for 20% of the price. The pictures look great because they're of real Rolex's, not the one you're gonna receive....if you even receive it at all.

Word....don't know if I'd drop $5500 on a gen. I'd probably buy an Omega Planet Ocean or a Panerai for that price.
Off topic: Why the hell would you spend that much on a watch? My $60 Fossil watches work just fine and have all looked great.

Sorry, but I could build one of the best systems around for that. I just don't get it.

Because the Ferarri is fast as hell, and about a million times more beautiful.

Personally, i wouldn't buy a Ferarri. Lotus Elise looks great and will go toe-to-toe with an enzo on the track for about $600k less.

Why buy a BMW 7 series when a Lincoln Towncar will function the same way and get you to the same place for $60k less? You should already know the answer your own question...

Once again, the BMX looks better and is a performance/luxury car. Towncar is a boat for geriatrics.

I can see spending the kind of money you're asking for for YOUR watch. But to me, $6000 is a tad insane.

And $120k for a car is insane to most people....whereas $35-40k is more reasonable. That is why it's a "luxury" watch and not a throw-away watch. The movement inside a Rolex is much more complicated (though nowhere near as much as ultra-luxury brand watches) than your standard $60 quartz watch, and they have the name value that people want from a status symbol.

Yeah, but they're nowhere near the quality of a Rolex/Omega/Panerai/Breitling in most cases. There are two movements that can be used for them - the cheap Asian one, which makes up 95% of the reps for those brands, or the hand-wound Lemania one, a great movement that is very reliable and allows the use of functioning chronographs. The Asian versions run about $150 and the Lemania ones for $300-400 depending on the model. Here are a couple pics of the different movements, and an example or two of the watches:

Glashutte with cheap-o Asian movement:

Nice looking watches, I like the looks of the Rolex that you are selling but the silver finish doesn't do it for me. Got any others? I have one that I bought in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico many years ago, but is a battery powered crappy replica. Got one with the full day display & date with the magnification bump over it and perhaps the gems on the number markers that is gold or silver/gold? I would be interested in one of those. Lemme know.
