Up for sale again is my red display Passport Escort 8500 x50 radar detector. I'm a family man now and have really slowed down recently so I have no need for it. Its in excellent condition and will be shipped via USPS Priority mail. I'm looking for 175 shipped.

If I had a blue one most likely I wouldn't be selling it. I got an 07' Escalade EXT and I don't know if you have ever seen the gauges on it but they are a sick *** blue. Not to brag or anything but they are some of the best gauges I've ever seen on a truck.

What's the dif between 2nd gen and first? I thought it was just the software, which can be updated?

Unfortunately, I got in my truck this morning, turned the radar on and it said service required. I attempted to reset it but it did not work so I called Escort. They said this is a problem when the cigarette lighter jack does not turn off when the vehicle is off (my integra's cig jack turned off when I turned the car off but the caddy's does not). Something about how it doesn't get enough power when the truck is off so it messes up. I should have disconnected it every time I turned my truck off.

Costs 59.95 to fix it plus shipping charges. I will ship to Escort directly and then I can get them to ship straight to you. They said it will take approximately 5 business days.

I don't have the money at the moment to cover the charges to get it fixed so I cannot trade it, sorry man. I will use the money I get from the radar to ship it to escort and have them send it to the buyer.
