I've got a few pieces of equipment for sale here, the matching japanese alpine units obviously being the stars of this thread. The alpine units were acquired from an importer, from two JDM front clips. These were an amazing find, and as much as I'd like to keep all 4 units, I don't have two cars, so one has to go. I'm having a hard time putting a price on these, but considering how rare they are, these are my list prices. I've never seen these units for sale on this forum before. Here they are.. Don't hesitate to make an offer, it's really hard to put a price on them

I will post more specs on these units as I find them, but they're really hard to find.

Everything has been tested and it's all in working order, Going to try and get some pics of them powered up for everyone..

Only one set will be sold, whatever doesn't sell is going in my car.

MDA-7755J and CDA-5755 -- $450 as is / $550 with working cd unit.

These two units are in mint condition. The unit on top is an MD (minidisc) head unit. It has the MAX TUNE PRO tuner, sound position selector, BBE, dual preamp outputs, and changer control. Fully motorized units, with tilt. The unit on the bottom is a CD player, sound field processor, 7 band EQ, time correction, DSP surround, and listening position selector.Both have digital eq's, and integrate seamlessly. The CD unit's DSP, and all other options work but the CD player on it only works intermittenly. Took it to alpine, was quoted $80 to repair the cd player. If I have a serious buyer, I can get it repaired with a $80 deposit, and then ship out.

Amplifier is in decent condition, with a tiny bit of rust on the end plates (see pictures). Speaker terminals are all in good shape. Amp is in perfect working order. Serial is on the bottom: "27 1614" As per current forum prices, my price is very conservative. Also not sure if this is a limited edition, because it is gray, I've only seen these in white.

Are the Alpines the Japan versions? If yes are the tuners full US banded?

They were in japenese cars, so I would think so. I'm not sure if they are US banded. I'm hooking up all units in my car this weekend to take pictures and to test to see which set I really want to keep. I will check what's up with the AM/FM and let you know.

The bottom set of alpine's look really slick I think. Awesome condition. What would be really sweet is if you busted out an old school Alpine pullout. My first CD deck was an Alpine pullout that I got for $20 because it would only play CD's without skipping like 20% of the time. Some genius stole it from me, but left the cage with the harness in my dash, pretty funny actually.
