POOPSIE McSQUIRTYSHORTS
Mitsubishi CS-40503
This is the largest tube tv ever made and they are hard to find. Sony made a 40" xbr for a year back in the early 2000's as well. They both retailed for $4000 new so they were rather expensive sets.
This tv was manufactured in 1996 I think. It spent the first 3 years of it's life in my friends home theater store being used as the reference tv to demo dvd's capabilities.
While in the store it was only used a few times a day(sometimes only a few times a week) to demo dvd's. It was calibrated professionally as soon as it left the box and has been calibrated using the AVIA test disc every year since then just for good measure.
I bought it in 1999 from him and it has been used maybe an hour or two per day since then. I have had no problems with the tv at all and it still looks as good as the day I bought it.
It includes the matching stand, original remote and the owners manual. If you want it I will throw in the AVIA test disc free which sells for about $30 online I think.
PICKUP ONLY, I am located in Green Bay, WI and I suggest you bring a few rather strong guys to carry it. The tv itself weighs about 300 pounds and stand weighs about 100 pounds!
Dimensions w/o stand: 38"w x 31.5"h x 26"d
Dimensions with stand: 38"w x 50"h x 26"d
There are 5 stairs and the front door to navigate so it will be easy to take away, but you pay before you move it and if you drop it you dont get money back.
Reason for selling? The one and only reason I am selling this is because I am moving in the spring and the last thing I want to do is move this tv again.
I will get some pictures up asap, thanks for looking
