well as tital states i am selling a PASSPORT SRX REMOTE RADAR LASER DEFENSE KIT.

it was mounted on a friend of mines car he said it was to much of a hastle to take it off and i told him how much it was worth and he said screw it and i told him b4 he traded it in with the kit on i would just take it off and take it from him and he said it was fine with him so i took it off and gave him xxx bucks for it. ( edited)

this is the whole kit minuse the install book , owners manual,and the Rear lazer detector( which imo is not needed... dont understand how a rear mounted lazer detector helps at all anyhow lol.)

rear laser detector helps if the cop is driving behind you and is a pretty essential piece, you should have taken it

how come you were able to get all the parts, but didnt get the rear laser sensor? that seems like a pretty easy thing to unscrew considering you got the front sensor and interface module

why couldnt your "friend" give you the manual and install book?

even a pawn shop wouldnt buy this without proof of ownership, does your "friend" have a receipt he can give you or any other proof of purchase? escort is an "authorized dealer" company so you will need it for warranty purposes and to replace the rear sensor through them

sorry man but your FS thread screams, "i stole this and made up a story to sell it", provide some proof it is legal and a decent price and it might sell, i am looking for a new radar since my Bel took a crap

well realise that this is not stolen he said it came on the car when he bought it... its from a bmw . also the rear 1 when i undid all the wireties it got snaged up on something and ripped the wires from the rear sensor. i am sure i can pick 1 up if thats what u want me to do. but also the rear sensor ... a cop cant clock you if he is moving the same direction you are moving( or so i thought) i am sure he can look at his speedo and keep up with you and see what speed ur going but i never thought he could clock you from behind... great info lol.. also uhmm definatly dont know what kinda price to sell it for because i dont see tomany of them on cars that live by me lol. i mean i dont know how elce to prove its legit besides saying what i took it off of. i thought it was a factory option when i took it off untill i realised that u could actuily buy this online. I will try and get a rear sensor if ur serious about buying this but im lookin for my camera but if u want pictures ( i can text picture message u anything u want... give me ur phone number and i will send what ever pictures u want.)

PS: stealing this is next to imposable lol it took me like 2 hrs trying to take it out safely... who ever put it in had alll these wires hidden underthe hood tangled together behind the cowl kinda... there is a space on a bmw on the right side where its like the aire cleaner box for the inside of the car... that took quite a while to untangle on its own lol. at the end i was so close and i thought i could just pull the wires out for the rear and be done... but then snap so sorry but idk how elce to explane it to you.

if a cop hits you with a laser, a detector isnt going to help because he's already got you.

but this is suposed to be advanced enough that u have time to slow down before he hits u. i beleave that they try and lazer u multipul times to make sure its not a glitch or a bird or something that got in the way so if u slowdown in time u should be fine... never used it though so not sure on how good it is.( ive heard it works pritty well)

Actually, the SRX is a radar detector/laser shifter all in one. It will give the laser gun an error reading. I've got one on my corolla and it has saved my ass too many times.
