Panasonic CQ-C8303U head unit - $60 shipped

Nice head unit. You can actually upload your own pictures on the screen. Full-color organic EL display. Plays mp3 cd's, includes remote, cage, trim ring, case, manual, and wiring harness. Has rear aux-in inputs via RCAs so you can attach an external MP3 player/IPOD pretty easilly. Motorized flip down face, three sets of RCAs, 7 band EQ. Has one noticeable scratch on the face, other than that is in great condition. Everything works perfectly on it. Specs here Panasonic CQ-C8303U CD receiver with MP3/WMA playback at Crutchfield.com

LBC99 your box is Fullllllll

I know I said I was gonna buy 4 days ago but got busy. Few quick question your positive all buttons work perfectly? No sticking or hard to press buttons? The screen pixels still bright? Has the HU at anytime that you know of have issues with the screen flickering or going black for a period of time and suddenly returning? Have you tested all the pre amps to make sure all 3 are functional? Might sound like weird questions but one of the reasons its not already at my house is due to alot of negative issues with this certain model. The major issues alot have with this unit are listed above. Also, Is there any excess play in the faceplate once its in contact with theactual unit? Lots of people state issues with weak and loose contact by the faceplate to the unit resulting in rattles and more importantly the leds on the FP going in and out due to the FP not making a tight fit and causing some kind of loss in power to the FP at random times.

You have any issue with giving me atleast 24hours starting the sec it hits my door to have it tested by a legit shop?

Let me be clear there's alot of good reviews about this unit too. Just dnt want ya to think i am trying to hurt ur chance for sale by asking about a couple of serious and major issues (THAT MAY OR NOT BE TRUE AS A REVIEW IS NOTHING MORE THEN ONES OPPINION) that might scare someone away.

I will be waiting for ur reply. Appreciate your time man.

As far as I know and from what my wife has told me, the HU has never had any issues including any of those you are specifically asking about. It was in her car, so I wasn't the one primarily using it. I have never seen the screen go out. The face has always attached nice and tight. The only preouts I used on it were the front channels, so I can't honestly tell you one way or another about the other sets. The buttons don't stick and work perfectly. No stuck pixels on the screen and it was nice and bright. We bought it brand new. You are welcome to test it out and if you find something wrong with it, just send it back I will refund you.

My inbox is cleared out. Feel free to PM me.

That remote works with some other Alpine models as well. I'm using it on a 9855, which is a 2005 model and I used one on a 9853, also a 2005 model. Because the 2005 and newer models use the 4202, any model that uses the 4202 should also work with the 4178. That's a really hard to find remote. It's cool because it's got the buttons to adjust the angle of the face, if your Alpine has a motorized face. It will adjust the angle of any 2005 motorized face. Free bump for you.
