Well I've finally gotten around to posting this subwoofer. Let me start out by saying I don't know much about this speaker other than it is old. I'm not even sure of the era when these would have been produced, but a while ago methinks is a safe guess //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
Anyway, the bottom of the subwoofer says it's a Rockford Fosgate 10" Series 1, model # S1-810. It is an 8 ohm speaker with DVC. (I guess it's easy to see where they got the model number). Overall, this thing is in great shape except for one thing: the foam surround is starting to go. It has actually separated from the frame at the point I tried to photograph. Other than the one area, it looks pretty good. However, it probably needs to be fixed before use. I inherited this from a friend and never powered it up in the couple of years I've been storing it. Thus, I don't know what it sounds like.
I have a PDF manual for the sub that I was able to excavate from RF's website. I'll try to post a link to it when I get home. On to the pics (sorry I didn't take them with my username...I was feeling lazy).
I'll start this at $100 shipped but I am very open to offers. I (and the wife //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif) really want it gone. Hopefully someone out there can put this OS piece to good use //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Edit: Found an old forum thread that suggested these are from the early or mid 90s. Whew, that is old! (for a speaker)
