i have not used the hcca's, so maybe revrider or louisiana crx could chime in, those are the two who may have first hand knowledge of each

I would like to say they are a little underrated. I believe the hcca's are more powerfull, and you can drop some of them down pretty low on the ohm loads. XTR's like the higher loads, and they put out some good power. One of my favorite amps i used to own was my xtr 2150, sounded great and it was powerfull. Id rather run the XTR series more than the hcca's but thats my choice, others will differ im sure.

i believe the 250 likes 4 ohm bridged whereas the 2150 can pull 2 ohm bridged.

I havent tried my 2150XTR at 2ohms, but I hear it will run fine... I am curious though...

I never knew that the 2150 could run at 2ohm's until i read the manual that day. Ive ran my 2150 on a 2ohm load before but it wasnt for very long.
