I can not be 100% sure, but I am thinking that they do not have to be the same brand, just the same chipset.Crap.. Too bad it's not the eVga 7900GT, or I would buy this up to run mine SLi'd to get the most out of this old socket motherboard while I can //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.
In an SLI configuration, cards can be of mixed manufacturers, card model names, BIOS revisions or clock speeds. However, they must be of the same GPU series (e.g. 8600, 8800) and GPU model name (e.g. GT, GTS, GTX).
Negative on multiple SATA drives, I only have 1 SATA port left, and dont want to spend extra right now on a PCI to SATA card.I might get this from you, I'll know after tommorow once I get my new stuff in. I have a left over Gigabyte SLI board, 2 gb of the SLI OCZ Memory, and a 5000+, so I might throw a beater together lol.
Any interest in a couple of smaller SATA drives that would add up to 200-300gb?
