Me and one of my best old friends are about to part ways. He needs a new friend to play with. If you know old school power houses, you know this amp. This amp is ridiculous, and I mean that in the best way possible.

This amp is 100% functional and doesn't show any signs of giving up any time soon. I ran it for about 2 years in my daily driver, and the last year the same vehicle but much more seldom. It always worked without flaw. When I bought it, it had a melted power terminal, and gave up on me shortly after giving it power. It was repaired, and ran for the extent of my ownership without another hiccup. Cosmetically the amp is about a 8/10. It's got some scratches in the paint here and there, but nothing serious.

Specs:

100x2 @ 4 ohms

400x2 @ 1 ohm

1600 x1 @ 2 ohms MONO

THD 0.015%

S/n Ratio >100dB

Frequency Response 10Hz-40kHz

Bass Boost @ 45 HZ 0-24dB

SUBSONIC FILTER

Yes, this is a 1600 watt class a/b amplifier. I wouldn't recommend this amp unless you have the electrical system to support it.

I've seen these go for a lot more, so don't send me any low ball offers.

I don't have much of a post count on this forum, but I used to be very active on sounddomain.com before the forum died off.

And my ebay feedback

lets see pics of the internals. its a nice amp no doubt but i find the 1600 watt 2 ohm mono rating a little far fetched when at 1 ohm stereo which should essentially be the same power it does 400 by 2.

i'm confused what you're doubting? at 4 ohms mono, although not listed with any of the specs i've ever seen, I imagine it does 800. why is it hard to believe this amp does 1600x1 @ 2 ohms?

from the looks of the internals i'd say its possible. I based my statement off of the power ratings you claimed . just doesn't make sense that it is rated for 400 by 2 at 1 ohm stereo and 1600 watts at 2 ohm mono because as far as the amp is concerned its essentially the same load. not saying you are a liar. Just seems strange that they would rate it like that.

For the power rating. This is the way Autotek rated this series. I have a few BNIB of this series they all have weird power ratings from Autotek. In the past people have taken the AMX series down to 1ohm and .5 ohm. Another interesting thing is that in the manual is Autotek says that if heat sink paint removed .5ohm stable. These were and still are some of the best ever O/S cheater amps.

The AMX200.2 is the only one I don't have that I have always wanted. Right now I just do not have $400 and that really *****. If I had the cash this thing would already be gone. Good luck with the sale.

i'm looking for an amp for the install i'm working on. i need something around 800x1 @ 4 ohms. got anything that might fit the bill and be willing to trade plus some cash? i need noise in my trunk, and its not gonna happen til i get the autotek sold

I do but none I am looking to get rid of. Sorry man. Wish I had the cash I would take this one off your hands.

This is one of those amps that only a few people know about and what kind of power they will do. Most as you already stated will not the electrical to support a A/B 1600+ watt sub amp.

These are sweet amps with a ton of balls that can take a hell of a beating and not get hot.
