FS: MOTU 828 MK2 Firewire Audio Interface

im selling this as i have upgraded the studio yet again and have no need for it any longer, because i love it so much i would keep it, but i dont have the space and it wouldnt get used.

remember this is the FIREWIRE not USB 2 interface, as this unit is just over a year and a half in age and the USB model was just released sometime last year, they are both the same minus the connection difference...

the unit is flawless minus one small imperfection in the powder coating on the front, a small speckle has flaked off, the unit came with a small little crack in the coating which was no big deal, but i guess i some how touched it the right way and the little flake came off...other than that FLAWLESS...

if there is any interest i will post actual pics of the unit...didnt really think it would sell here, just wanted to offer it up to you guys before i post it up on ebay and craigslist...

looking for $625+shipping, if the subject comes up i am in the market for about 150' of 1/0 hyperflex and 2 Kinetik 2400's aside from that i dont think any other trades would tempt me at this time...

Sleek unit.... What did you upgrade to? What are you using in the studio?

went with a whole new DAW setup, got a digidesign 003 LE and a new G5 all loaded up, havent got it all setup lastnight, but now that im working with more instruments this was the way to go for me...

not very many of these so called hip hop producers play the drums, the bass, violin and the acoustic guitar, but i have been trying to incorporate more of that over the last few years and the 003 makes life a bit easier...maybe one day i'll have a nice ssl setup and everything will be where it needs to be, until then this will probably where i stay for awhile...

come along way from a casio, a drum machine and a 2 track recorder let me tell ya...

thank's a lot man...im not too worried about it, someone will buy it...im not hurting for dough, im just the kind of guy that it's better to sell stuff i don't need right away, otherwise i hang onto them forever...
