im selling my MTX 81000D , heres the story

i was going home from campus one day to get some money, half way in the trip my system cuts out, i pull over and notice the metal prong that holds the power wire has came loose, i pushed it back in place and it started right up again

when i got to the house i pulled the amp out and took it apart, the metal piece that holds the power wire has come off the circuit board... it has 9 or so prongs that hold it in place if you just set it in there but to have a solid 100% connection you would have to re-solder it from underneath the circuit board (which i dont want to do)

this is a very minor problem, to be honist it still works 100% i can push it in place and power it right up and it wangs nuts! but i dont want to risk any damage like the power piece accidently hits against the ground piece or anything

also while the amp was taken apart i noticed the mod has already been done, which explains why it took 1ohm like a champ and was so **** loud!

price $250 + shipping , no other money offers accepted AT ALL, if its not $250 + shipping then dont contact me , i will however happily accept trades!

im back at campus now so i will not have pics up till this weekend when i go home, but i have many ref's and near 2k posts so no worries buying from me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif

oh yea i forgot specs

1500@ 2 ohms

1000@ 4 ohms

unrated @ 1ohm but i ASSUME its around 1500-2000 @ normal voltage

with the mod done to it , it will take up to 17 volts and drop down to .5 ohm or below for burps, i had this amp on 2 L7's and it was LOUD!!! my roommates think its the loudest thing they've ever heard in their lives, but then again they dont have systems...

heres a picture of the damage, note this is before i tried to fix it and accidently got solder all in the little holes ... its still all good but theres just solder in the holes

ttt! i want a new amp, i dont want to go through the hassle of fixing this, someone offer me a similar amp and lets trade!

someone wants an amp that can go down to .35 ohms and take up to 17 volts! also i promise this amp is in 100% working condition, we had hooked it up quickly to see if it works and its still freakin pounds my L7s! i just **** at soldering
