Before I start.... please PLEASE do not be post wh@res and say stuff... PLEASE.

This is a modded MTX 1501D.

While my car was on... the positive and negitive wires touched each other while the amp was on causing the mosfets and one resistor to fry. KBaudio.com quoted me 90 bucks to get this thing fixed.

I dont have any use for the amp any more.

2000 @ 1 ohm.

100 bucks shipped to you.

Have You advised anyone what they Will be looking at spending to try and hve this repaired? Since it was "modded" after it left the factory...
-Nick
Yes... read above... 90 bucks.

KBudio moddeds those same amps... he said 90 bucks when i called.

But im pretty sure the difference in KB and MTX is that KB only fixes the blown parts, MTX on the other hand, replaces the whole board. Ya never know if something blowing weakend another part of the amp, that might arise problems in the future

KB audio Moddes the mtx amps... Im not sure if they modded mine or not. But they said it will be fixed and still modded for 90 bucks. If there is any doubt, call them.
You call them, record the conversation, save it on your computer, convert it to mp3, then upload it for us to behold...

just talked to MTX customer service, all repairs including labor, parts and return shipping is $95 for everythnig and anything...
just gotta pay 95+shipping THERE only

not bad...comes back unmodded though
Yeah...ive got one that needs to go back to them, gotta do that soon

anyone have dibs on this yet?

i'm very interested in this for my solo barics instead on my current setup, i'll have to run gains low but i plan on upgrading to L7s anyhow.

LMK if anyone has spoken for it, maybe we can work a deal.

ALSO!

If you send the amp to KBAudio.com

He will fix the amp AND KEEP IT MODDED. for 90 bucks (plus shipping, but that depends on where you live... and where he is located.)
