trying to fund a big mono sub amp, so i'm putting up my Mcintosh MC431M for sale here.
4 X 100w @4ohm. Configurable for 4/3/2 channel operation. Includes built-in electronic crossover with separate high pass and low pass filters. Power Guard. Ported tunnel forced-air cooling. Multi-stage thermal protection. Dual MOSFET PWM power supplies. Input level controls. Transient protection. Gold plated terminals. 2 ohm stability. Allows internal installation of McIntosh parametric equalizer modules. Size 2-3/4"H, 18-1/2"W and 12"D.
it's not in the best shape as you can see from the pix. i've been running it at bridge mode with no problem at all. since i'm putting it up for sale, so i just tested each channel to make sure everything's working but found out there are lots of noise coming out from the 4th channel. not quite sure what the problem is but it's perfectly fine at bridge mode.
you know these amps go for at least $800 online if you could find a used one, but since mine has a little issue here, so i'll slash the price to $550 shipped to lower 48 states for a quick sale! price is firmed and for one day only. if i don't have a buyer by the end of Thursday 9-3-09, then i'll keep it
