kinda interested and not a bad price but i got a few questions. 1 being how well dose it play back movies on a tv . 2 dose the remote work if its not on the docking station. and 3 being what all types of files can you play on it

TV quality depends on the quality of the source material, it is limited to standard def, because of the cables ( red white yellow ) ie if you put a converted DVD rip on there it will look great, but if you use a crappy cam video its gona look crapy.

remote only works on the dock, which as stated may or may not work. I think it may be the battery in the remote though, not 100%
