I thought the 20gb didnt play blue ray? Does it play PS2 games?

At game stop, I was told the 20 only played ps3 discs, and dvds. The 60gb played blue ray and ps2 games along with ps3 and dvds. But now they only have a 40gb and 80gb, which the 40 doesnt play ps2, but the 80 plays most ps2 games. Both are blue ray players now tho. Just wondering because my fiancee and I been looking to get one for a few months now....
