I purchased the HC1400 along with an HC2400 for my car (2400 for the trunk and 1400 for under the hood). Once I got the 1400, I realized I could probably fit an 1800 under the hood, so I ordered one of those and put the 1400 in my closet. Once I got the 1800, I realized that it would take some major modification under my hood to get this battery to work (the terminal posts are opposite on the Kinetik from the factory battery) - I have an Altima Coupe. For the time being, I just continued to use the stock battery. I haven't had any problems with it, so I'm not too motivated to do the work to get the 1800 to fit.

So, neither of these batteries have EVER been installed in any application. Both can be considered completely new. I believe I charged the 1800 to try to install it, but like I said it never saw any time in my car. Both of the batteries are in perfect cosmetic condition. I'm looking for about $170 (shipped) for the 1400 and $200 (again shipped) for the 1800 (or $360 for both). Not looking for trades. Also, I can drop them off anywhere near the Chicagoland area and lower the cost a bit for that.

still available???
BTW, what kind of mods do you need to do for the 1800 to fit your car??? Also, so the other battery heads come with the battery?
The 1800 is still available. Without pictures, it's a bit tough to explain, but I'll try. The battery sits near the front driver side fender. The stock positive terminal is on the driver side closer to the firewall. The stock negative terminal is on the driver side near the head light. On the 1800, these two are reversed. This wouldn't be a huge issue, but the fused distribution block is connected right on to the positive terminal of the battery (with hardly any extra slack). To get the 1800 to fit, I'd basically need to mangle the distribution block (or fabricate my own) to get it to fit.

By battery heads do you mean terminal posts? If so, I'll confirm but I should have some extra terminal posts that I can send.
