Item(s) for Sale:
Selling a Kenwood KAC 8105-D.
Kenwood KAC-8105D Mono subwoofer amplifier — 500 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms at Crutchfield.com
Description/Condition of Item(s):
Had it for two months but have no use for it anymore as Im upgrading my system all the way around.
300rms x 1 @ 4ohm
500rms x 1 @ 2ohm
1000rms max
Mechanically 10/10
Cosmetically 9/10 (Nicks and such around the Gain & Bass Boost knobs) but it's all hidden anyways so you'll never see it unless you mount the amp upside down. Got a few fingerprints on the outer case but all will be shined up and ready to go.
Never went into protect. Honestly, after about a hour of straight slammin, the amp was still pretty cool. Beasty lil amp here
Highlights:
mono subwoofer amplifier
300 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (500 watts x 1 at 2 ohms)
CEA-2006 compliant
variable low-pass filter (50-200 Hz at 24 dB per octave)
bass boost (0-18 dB at 40 Hz )
subsonic filter (15/25 Hz, 18 dB/octave )
Class D design
speaker-level inputs with signal sensing turn-on
preamp inputs and outputs
fuse rating: 30A x 2
8-gauge power and ground leads recommended — wiring and hardware not included with amplifier
11"W x 2-3/8"H x 9-1/2"D
They call for it to have 8 gauge power/ground but I had a decent amount of light dimming when I used 8 gauge. Upgraded to 4 gauge and all my problems went away
