Sold ]] FS [[ Kenwood eXcelon KAC-X520 2 ch Amp

Hi there!

For sale is a Kenwood eXcelon KAC-X520 Amplifier that i recently bought from Mr. Loki, and was planning to play it bridged for my subwoofer. However, it doesn't fit on the back of my seat while still allowing my seats to fold up and down (too big) so I have to go back to my old Clarus for now.

I have never ran it, so I have never put power to this amp.

Here are the specs:

Got Juice? This wicked 2-channel power amplifier delivers 1,000 watts (x 1) maximum output power, or 250 watts x 2 at 2 ohms and 14.4V. The power MOSFET switching power supply ensures effortless performance. Its Bass Management System (B.M.S.) allows precise tailoring of the bass frequencies (with a B.M.S. compatible head unit). And, its variable high-pass and low-pass electronic crossovers let you send your speakers exactly the signals they can most effectively reproduce. The KAC-X520's brick-house construction includes a copper-shielded EE core transformer, large secondary capacitors, and a brushless cooling fan, plus gold-plated RCA audio inputs/outputs and speaker connectors (screw-type). The status indicator is a variable-color LED that lights in 7 different colors to tell you the amp's exact operating status. Plus, you can choose any one of the seven to be the amp's Power-On color.

  • 125 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms
  • 250 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms
  • 500 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms in bridged mode
  • stereo or bridged mono output
  • Tri-Way capable
  • infrasonic filter (15 Hz, 24 dB/octave)
  • 50-200 Hz crossovers: 12 dB/octave high-pass, 18 dB/octave low-pass
  • 12 dB bass boost variable from 40-100 Hz (expandable to 6/12/18 dB when connected to a Kenwood Excelon receiver equipped with BMS controls)
  • Bass Management System
  • preamp outputs
  • fan cooling
  • speaker short, low battery, thermal overload, and DC protection
  • variable color indicator
  • gold-plated terminals
  • requires 4-gauge power and ground leads wiring and hardware not included with amplifier
  • 2" wide detachable terminal covers
  • 17-9/16"W x 2-5/16"H x 12-1/2"L

Amp looks just like the picture... if you want pics i'll send them to you via email from my cell phone.

PM or e-mail me with any offers or interest you have, trades will be entertained however i really need money to replace this amp with a Clarus to match my old one for my sub!

Thanks for looking!
