Sold FS: JLAudio 12w7 Torn Surround Texas

I have a JL 12w7 has a severely torn surround (It still plays.. not blown).. It used to be in my car powered by a JL 500/1.. It's last resting place was in my bedroom as a beside table. lol

Asking: 120 + ship or OBO + ship. Would prefer local pickup (I bet it's going to be expensive to ship). I'm in 77521 if anyone would like to calculate the shipping.

*Shipping is roughly $45-60 dollars depending on location..

**** yours looks just like mine... Can it play like that? Or would you need to get a new surround? I'm a bit interested. If I can get a new surround or something for a decent price I think we can talk.

It plays... But the surround is still pretty badly cracked and its uneven or something because the VC rubs when the cone moves a decent amount.. Last time I heard was that Fixmyspeaker.com was doing complete recones for 12w7s ONLY but stopped recently because of some kind of design on the newer W7s.. (If you could persuade, this should be an older W7, pre-2005) They make it into some kind of Super W7. I was originally going to go this route but traded in my car for a Z.

I think I was quoted about $250 (in January, it's well under JL's out-of-warranty repair, which is like $500+ ..lol)

Also accepting trades + cash (on my part).. perferably a JL 10w6 (or v2), FiQ10, or anything that is SQ 10in with a mounting depth of under 7in

ooh ahh.. Didn't know JL changed so much when they updated the W6 to v2.. I was hoping it would be similar to the FiQ10 specs (like the 10w6v2)
