Okay....making a new thread for this. Last time I said this was a Pavilion and got all the details screwed up.
This is a HP COMPAQ PRESARIO V6305NR.
The battery WORKS. I said the battery went dead, but as it turns out, it wasn't popped all the way in. So this laptop is 100% gold.
It's a nice machine, and only a little over a year old. Great for simpler editing, music, movies, office, games. Like new shape. Plastic protectant is still on the lid.
