Nice looking bike. Always wanted a Harley, but the sportster just isn't for me. I tried one out when I toured HD head quarters in Milwaukee, and it just wasn't right. The V-Rod fit me much better.

But free bump for a VERY nice looking bike. Should make a very nice toy for someone. Would be a great starter bike too.

Sportster with Buell XB 1200 engine will SMOKE any Vrod...(main reason I want a sportster....)

Same engine platform, just the Buell is highly tuned...

My MOM has an XL1200, '02 model with under 3500 miles....hasnt seen road time since '05. I am trying to get it from her, but she's not budging...

If I was worried about speed, I would get a crotch rocket. The V-Rod was just much more comfortable, and I felt more natural sitting on it. When I sat on the Sportster, the tank was right between my legs. I just like bikes that are a little more stretched out.

Although, I think I could make an exception for the XL1200N. I'm digging the cafe racer-ish looks.
