1. Product:

It is a used MTX 1000D modded to be able to be ran down to 1 ohm and up to 18V (i ran mine on the standard 14V system).

2. Specs:

14V RMS ratings:

2000 RMS @ 1 ohm

1500 RMS @ 2 ohms (more like 1600 actual RMS)

12V RMS ratings:

1600 RMS @ 1 ohm

1000 RMS @ 2 ohm (more like 1200 actual RMS)

3. Description/Condition:

The amp is in great condition besides the power terminal is missing the screw to hold it the 1/0 (but mine stayed in there just fine). It is in good cosmetic condition besides that missing screw ($2 a hardware store ) The performance of this amp is outstanding, works as if it were brand new.

Also comes with a remote bass control, but i never even hooked it up.....

4. Price: :

$200+ shipping or $230 shipped or will trade for a mono amp that will do 2500+ RMS @ 13V (will add cahs, PM me if u have something ) OBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very nice amp, solid power.

That wiring job scares me too, considering that modding the 8100 and 1501d to run low imp also removes the protection circuit. I would fix that asap.

But good deal overall, good luck with it.

well the it is removed for my car now, the wireing job is really more intimidating than it is... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif i explained it all in one of my previous posts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif but yea i think it is a good deal for a solid amp!

I cannot believe people install like that, not to mention the jumped remote wire. Ugh.
i don't see whats so wrong with it, it just happens to show that the amp is mounted close to the place where i run all ov my wires through... i was planning on re-installing the amp elsewhere, but it turned out to be a good place for it (fit perfectly, had great air circulation to keep it from getting warm) and what do you mean by "jumped remote wire"? and if you look at it, there are only 4 misc. wires going to the amp that are not in other installs, 3 @ the ground of the amp (two for groiunding the RCA sheilds)(one for the ground on my stinger voltmeter) and one to the positive (positive for the stinger voltmeter) so they are just to keep an eye on the amp so it gets the power it wants.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif so i dont understand the big deal, yea it doesnt look the cleanest, but im redoing my whole install this season so.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Scary wiring! :0

If those screws are the same as the 1501 they are 3/8-24. Go to Lowes and buy a set screw to replace the missing one for under a buck. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I really should not have to explain why that is bad.

3 things are agreed...
1. Nice, solid amp that is underrated

2. joo need some install skills.

3. a new screw (or even a bolt) might help make the sale
yea i have to make it to the half a*s hardware store we have, and see if they can help me out, and the install like i said was goign to be temperary, but it turned out to be a convienient placement for the amp..... but yea the amp is beastly //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
