up for teh sales are two Profile 600 msx mono amps. one was bought from a friend the other from thier profilesotre as a refurb. Both were ran at 1.5 ohm (rated down to 2 ohm) for a while and put out rated power , or close to. One had been sent in for a bad transformer? or something (8/23/06), i still have the invoice they sent me. the other i had re-soldered the rca connector back on the board because it became loose and hasnt had a problem with that since.
for a while i was having grounding issues and they would over heat and cut out. but with gain and boost about half way they played fine.
yes they are different. the rep had explained to me that they had two factories making them and one had a shortage on parts so they had to use different parts/design. same board though.
the shortage in parts or whatever happened lead to them putting 8g power and ground terminals on thier refurbs. the one i bought from a friend had 4g.
i will include the distribution block i was using as an adapter for the 8g amp if needed at no charge.
