ESX Quantum Q120.4 Amplifier

I'm downsizing my system and I don't want this amplifier to sit in a closet. It is in nearly perfect condition (no rust, no bent fins, perfect silk screen, solid RCA jacks, 3 of 4 original mounting feet) with only the paint chips that you see in the pictures. I used it to power various 4" midrange drivers and tweeters. It is capable of running an active system through its powerful crossovers (bandpass).

Email daddyoppe(at)aol(dot)com or PM me if you have any question or would like additional pictures. THANKS!

Output Power at 12V:

• 4 x 120W @ 4 ohms

• 4 x 180W @ 2 ohms

• 2 x 240W @ 8 ohms bridged

• 2 x 360W @ 4 ohms bridged

• 2 x 150W @ 4 ohms bridged "TRUE MONO"

• 2 x 240W @ 2 ohms bridged "TRUE MONO"

What kind of headunit would I have to run to make use of the balanced input? That thing looks sweet. And being Zed I'm sure it's about 0.001% THD and has a 110:1 S/N ratio or something?

You can use a balanced line adapter offered by ESX (super hard to find), Zapco, or Soundstream to convert any headunit output to a balanced signal. The only balanced headunit that I've used and can think of, at the moment, is the Eclipse 8053. You might be able to get the ps2 6 pin layout from Steve if you ask nicely.
