I recently bought a member's Alpine CDA-9855 deck and I am wanting to sell this Eclipse CD8454. I have the unit, NOB Remote, wiring harness, mounting cage, trim plate, and the manual. I may still have the box in my garage but I would have to check. Oh, and I have the Sony Memory Stick DUO that I am including as well. You can save songs to it or play them from the stick. Also, you can copy or upload your EQ settings to the stick. You can also go to Eclipses site and play with the settings there and then load them to your stick (just like Alpine's).

Most of you all know what this deck is all about...

Taken from a site when googled..."The CD8454 is the new flagship of ECLIPSE's vaunted CD receiver lineup. Rated to produce 50 watts x 4 of dynamic power, this full-featured head unit also boasts a robust 8-volt preamp output, ECLIPSE's esteemed NOB remote control and full-dot Vacuum Fluorescent display. In-vehicle tuning options are plentiful as well: The 8454 includes digital time alignment circuitry, parametric and graphic equalization and a flexible electronic crossover package."

There are many great reviews on this deck. Just search. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Anyway, I am wanting $225 shipped via USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation and Insurance.

My Paypal address is james33440@hotmail.com

I will post pics in the morning once I get off work.

Great deck and great price to boot //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif...interested in any trades?

I really just want cash.

But what would you offer in trades?

I am at work right now. I never got a chance to post any pics up earlier. Tomorrow I am actually redoing my setup to get ready for my CDA-9855. I will be rewiring my setup to run my front components active. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

So, yes theothermike, you can run your front stage in a 3way mode and still use the sub. That's what I will be doing since this deck as well as the 9855 both do this.

I had this deck for maybe a year or so. I always sell my decks after a certain point beacuse I simply just want to try something else. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Sorry but IIRC you can only do 2-way active fronstange and sub meaning just 3-way active total...the only units I can think of that and do 4-way active (3-way frontstage + sub) with internal DSP is the Clarion DRZ-9255 and the Ural but correct me if im wrong //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I dont have much for trade but I do have:

BNIB Aura MR5 midranges

BNIB Alpine XT19s

BNIB Zapco/BSG 6ch home amp

Bose computer speakers

This is true.....However, both the Eclipse CD8454 and the Alpine CDA-9855 deck's 3-way capability doesn't actually mean 3-way front stage. It means that you can use a 4-ch amp and use a set of components (mids and tweeters) in an active setup without the need of additional X-overs. It other words, their 3-way setup is actually the 2-way that you speak of. They both are including the sub(s) as an extra.

Also, I didnt' realize that the guy above wanted both a 3-way front setup as well as a sub. Sorry. Thanks for the correction. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
