I have heard a lot of good things about these components. To be quite honest, I don't have time to keep up with the current car audio stuff so could you tell me more about these? I currently have a set of Focal K2P's in the fronts and Focal 165 A's in the rears. I have a Zapco Reference 1000 running the fronts (yes I can smell the coils cooking from time to time) and a Zapco Reference 360 bridged to two channel running the rears. How do the DLS Iridium do as far as handling power? I am looking for something that can take a little more of the 1000 without heating up so quickly. I have a Nissan 350 Z and don't want to give up space for a 3 way setup so I need to stick with a component set that sounds great, yet can really take a good bit of what the Reference 1000 is putting out. I currently have a JL Audio 10w7 running off a JL Audio 1000/1 and have another 1000/1 and a 12w7 on the way so I imagine that the situation will only get worse for my Focal K2P's as I gain more bass with the 12w7 upgrade.
