kevlar is a composite trademarked by dupont

i miss read it the first time i guess i could have sworn it said carbonfiber but o well i Fed up

The term of a federal trademark is 10 years, I remember hearing kevlar was invented in the 80s and started using in the 90s for vests and what not. my guess is its no longer under trademark, or DD is just paying some royalties. I mean its something people can buy
