* Something like 8 / 10 cosmetic on a fresh re-cone. Re-coning was done by Chad Hicks. I tested it on my bench, coil is aligned, sub performs as expected. This is a big ol' 18" woofer.

* Very nice Re-cone parts, flat-wind coil, progressive spiders, very strong cone (cone pictured with SXs below). This is a monster little 10" woofer... would do well for a compact SPL setup.

I wouldn't use it incredibly close to you, the motor is fairly noise as it has no pole vent -- like the RE MT. If you have heard an RE MT and think it sounds okay daily, this will sound okay to you as well.

It would work in just about as small of a ported box as you can fit it in... I'd say 1 - 1.25 ft^3 tuned to 30 - 40 Hz would work well.
