got it off a friend of mine ~ a year ago, in the same condition and never got around to sending it in to get fixed.

the gear on the right side lost its pin so the screen wont retract. also on the face plate , two of the trim pieces fell off. i have hooked it up WHEN I FIRST GOT IT and it worked fine. i had wedged a small bolt in the broken gear to hold the screen up and it worked fine. i had it in the car like that , for a while. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gif

screen has some smudges and a couple nicks on it , but when its on theyre barely noticable.

the unit DOES WORK , but the screen WILL NOT retract.

clarion charges ~ $125 for repairs on these units.

finally got a camera so here are some quick pics i took real quick..

screen has smudges.

missing trim pieces on the face.

gear on the right side missing the pin to hold it in.

i forgot the harness i have has two yellow leads as you can see in the pic, so i never got to play a dvd with this one not knowing what to do with the other lead, but i did use a friend of mines harness (he had the same exact unit) and it played fine.

also i called clarion about a repair on the unit because i had a thought about keeping it , and the rep i spoke to said since the unit is not under warranty , that charge i mentioned in the firts post doesnt apply. he said you could send it to them (didnt specify charges) or take it to a local repair shop.

so make me some offers.
