Is the 618 RMS @ 2 ohm? I see some with birthsheets just over 600 but others with nearly 800.

Yeah, I wanted mine to be 800+ watts, but it wasn't. Which is why I'm selling it. Of course, I don't really need to sell it, but I'd prefer the extra 200 watts.

Somebody brought up a stupid point, so I dropped the price to $190 shipped. I'm losing a lot of money here with this dropped price and with what I have to pay to ship.

your amp IS NOT 600 WATTS... they all bench over 800 after the new testing is done on the just fyi.... call errin at pg he can explain it to you..

I've heard about those problems too but I wasn't sure if all of them were fixed and putting out 800+. Hm, charlie, if you do call and find out and explain it, count me in.

basically what happened is they were making them in korea... there testing methods were not that great... there were some issues originally. the ones that come with the original birthsheets with the checkmarks go through the same testing as the ones with the newer birthsheets at pg.. the ones with the new sheets go down the same line as the m and ms amps do/did... the other ones still go thorugh the line once they get back to pg just a different one... the testing while in korea was not done accuratly. this came directly from one of the engineers that designed the xenon's...

Great. Thanks for the info. I just have to go through my system and double check to make sure it's the amp that's blown and I'll get back to you charlie.
